Indigenous Perspectives

EN: People standing in a circle looking at cards on the floor FR: Les gens se tiennent en cercle en regardant des cartes sur le sol

The NWMO is committed to long-lasting relationships with Indigenous peoples built upon communication, transparency, respect and reconciliation. We will engage with Indigenous peoples on the Integrated Strategy on Radioactive Waste, and ensure all participants are provided the opportunity to provide input and advice. The NWMO recognizes the diverse backgrounds, cultures and customs of Indigenous peoples and the need to consider the impacts of today on the next seven generations.

As we prepare for the engagement, please tell us what topics you would like to discuss related to radioactive waste.
